Hotel Ideal – Sustainability

The goal of our company is to develop hospitality that meets the highest standards of environmental and social sustainability. How are we achieving it? By making important ethical choices, supporting communities, and enhancing the territories that host our structures. But we are not alone, because every day we inspire our guests to become valuable collaborators in building a better future. 

Hotel Ideal has always been attentive to environmental sustainability through a reduction in energy consumption and drinking water resources, optimized waste management, the use of ecological cleaning products, the use of regional food products and gradual abatement of the use of plastic. 

Not only collaborators are involved in this process but also our guests who are an active part, contributing through the activation of simple advice that the structure conveys with information inside the rooms, aimed at greater attention and sensitivity to energy saving and water.

Furthermore, our guests always help our mission, allowing us to take a census of their observations and suggestions, all through a satisfaction format that also includes a section, aimed at recording the level of sustainability that the guest perceives within our structure, after having stayed here. 

Our goal is to protect our territory and maintain the environment, save resources, and thus ensure the best stay experience on our Lake Garda in the name of real eco-sustainability that can be replicated by our future generations.

From a technological point of view, the hotel aims to save consumption; with regard to energy, LED lighting technology is gradually standardizing and, where possible, the setting up of presence sensors.

The Ideal hotel has implemented an action to raise awareness and train its staff, with the aim that it can become the driving force and example for our guests, with the ambition that all together we can contribute to the sustainability of the environment in which we live. 

Respect for the environment is a very important value for us in which we not only believe in, but for which we are concretely committed every day. This also through collaboration and support for local companies, which are also sensitive to the territory and sustainability (e.g., Wine tour in the Lugana cellars, boats tours with zero impact, linen rental service with an ISO 14001 certified company). 

Respect and protection of the environment also pass through the way in which we decide to move around the area. In fact, in our garage you will find bicycles for hire to move with pleasure and well-being within the historic streets that characterize our beautiful Sirmione. 

We are happy to offer you a holiday that is not only pleasant, but also respectful of the environment that we love so much.
